Client brief
Willmott Dixon is a leading independent construction and property services company. They had ambitious social value plans for their Gascoigne West development. They wanted to invest in quarterly video updates for their clients, staff and neighbours in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. The video updates could help the people of the borough come along on the journey to delivering new homes in the area.
The process
We worked with the Willmott Dixon social value team to identify key moments in their year to focus on. We then shaped themed films with longer and shorter cuts for social media.
We took care to make sure that in creating content specific to the site, our videos could also be repurposed to speak to Willmott Dixon’s values and wider DE&I strategy.
The results
- We created a women in construction video
- We introduced diverse apprentices on their early career journey
- We featured the reshaping of Everdove Park
Our considered and inclusive approach to video production helped Willmott Dixon to include the local community and evidence its commitment to social value.
