Absolute Beginners, an arts project based in Park Royal, has worked with excavated London clay from HS2’s super hub station, Old Oak Common, to create a prototype product with potential for future use at the station’s construction site.
Absolute Beginners is a new kind of factory where young people can begin to learn how to make all the basic goods we might need every day, in radically sustainable ways. They learned how to process the excavated clay and make sustainable crockery as part of a circular economy approach.
