DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION
Diversity is one of our core values at Mediorite.
By our nature Mediorite is a diverse organisation with access to unique talent bringing insight into stories around gender, disability and ethnicity in the workplace. From the training programmes we run, to our youth board and through our creative networks, we champion people and stories with diverse perspectives. This means we can offer a valuable contribution to clients around I&D campaigns, with access to talented, creative individuals who can speak with authenticity and lived experience on topics around mental health, social mobility, gender, disability and race. It's never been more important to get diversity and inclusion right and we can make sure the crew behind any filming you commission reflect the stories you want to tell.
In the words of Mediorite youth board member, Trans activist and director of multiple Mediorite films, Rico Chace:
"The world is changing and the next generation of the workforce expects their employees to not just understand inclusion but have both the knowledge and representation in the office- if you're not up-to-date you won't attract the best people or be able to work with diverse clients; and trans/non-binary clients, for instance, are on the rise! It's important for everyone to get on board and it's up to companies to bring their staff up to speed. That's where we fit in.
I choose to work with Mediorite because the quality of the films they create are high so I know the end product will be polished but also a lot of the contributors I want to work with, as it's my job is to get quite personal contributions out of them, require safe spaces on set. Therefore it's important to have a production partner and crew who gets pronouns and how to make trans and non-binary people feel comfortable and safe enough to share their experiences.”
Rico Chace has Directed 3 films for us around diversity and inclusion bringing in trans voices; Gender Inclusion Network, Mermaids, SH Legal and JTI.
