National Inclusion Week 2026 begins on 14th September, with the theme of Build Trust. Navigate Change. It’s a good moment to think about what inclusion really means in practice.

Inclusion isn’t just about policies, campaigns or what happens inside your organisation. It can also be built into the decisions you make every day – including who you choose to work with. Through responsible procurement, businesses and public sector organisations can live their values, create opportunities and help build a more inclusive society.

Our impact has the numbers to back up the promise.

At Mediorite, we believe your video production budget can do more than deliver a great film. As an award-winning social enterprise and professional video production company, our commercial work helps create paid opportunities, training and pathways into the creative industries for diverse young people.

Our new 2025–2026 Impact Report shows the tangible difference this model is making:

  • 434 young people engaged with Mediorite across training, work opportunities, youth board activity and outreach
  • 71% of young people on our SHIFT programme moved from NEET to EET
  • £95,000 was directly paid to young creatives over the year.

Supporting inclusive business clients with visual storytelling

We’ve seen how this inclusive approach can work for organisations that want to combine quality communications with meaningful social impact.

Our work with commercial clients

For example, we created a National Inclusion Week film for Wickes to celebrate inclusive culture and give colleagues the opportunity to share their experiences on camera. We’ve also worked with Wates on social value storytelling.

Our work with the public sector

Our longstanding work with the Greater London Authority has been recognised in its 2026 Responsible Procurement Report as an example of best practice.

Every GLA project created a paid work experience opportunity for a young person trained and supported by Mediorite.

This is what inclusive procurement and social value in video production can look like: commissioning a high quality professional corporate film, employer brand video, ESG film campaign, event film or social impact story while simultaneously helping to open doors for young people who are under-represented in the creative industries. Our latest impact report records 76% of young people on our programmes achieving statistically significant improvements in mental health and wellbeing, alongside 45 young people gaining work experience with Mediorite and creative industry partners.

Because we’re a social enterprise, your investment helps support this work as part of the production process – not as an optional add-on.

This National Inclusion Week, why not turn inclusion into action?

  1. Review where your organisation’s procurement spend goes
  2. Consider the social value built into your supply chain
  3. Choose suppliers who can help you achieve both your communications goals and your wider ESG, CSR and inclusion objectives.
